Herd of Years Past

I recently heard from a friend from long ago and it conjured up many fond memories. As children, we used to pretend we were horses running on the school field with other friends of ours. Hearing from her made me think back to the time when we personified certain horses (her a palomino quarter horse, myself a bay blanket apploosa, and another friend as a black and white pinto/paint). It sounds silly thinking back on it but it made me think of the good times we spent together.
